Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content on RubricWorks infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the Rubric ID, Listing ID, or URL.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

How to submit

Email your notice to [email protected], addressed to the Designated Copyright Agent, PVD Digital Solutions. If you need our agent's full postal details for a formal filing, request them at that address and we will provide them.

Misrepresentation.Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages and attorneys' fees under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

Our response

On a valid notice we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it, providing them a copy of your notice.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Your signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the District of Delaware, and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complaining party notifies us it has filed suit.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, as described in the Copyright & IP Policy.
